Dominic Nahr, who documented the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti last year, was one of the first journalists to fly to Japan after the 8.9- magnitude earthquake, and then tsunami, hit the island. His photographs from the first couple days after the disaster can be found on the TIME lightbox site here.
