OBC artists Elle Flanders and Tamira Sawatzky (Public Studio) win TFVA Artist Prize!!!!

A hearty congratulations is extended to Public Studio‘s Elle Flanders and Tamira Sawatzky for being honoured with the 2013 Artist Prize at last night’s Toronto Friends of the Visual Arts Award ceremony. With such outstanding production in film, photography, and installation-based practices, Public Studio is an excellent and worthy choice!
OBC intervenes into the corporate context with Arbitrating Places!!

The last week of April saw the opening reception of Arbitrating Places, a selection of works by O’Born Contemporary artists. The evening was hosted by 333 Bay St.’s 9th floor arbitration offices and OBC artists Kate McQuillen and Public Studio proudly represented the gallery’s roster, along with members of the gallery family!
