Edith Maybin
Edith Maybin (b. 1969 Canada) graduated in 2006 with an MA (Distinction) from The University of Wales and went on to win the title of Free Range 2006 Photographer of the Year, Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London.
Maybin has also been selected for the 2006 AXA Art Photographic Portrait Commission with the National Museum of Wales; 2007 Flash Forward Emerging Photographer, Canada; 2008 American Photo Magazine Emerging Artist; and is a 2009 Hearst 8x10 Biennial, winner, New York.
Maybin's work is part of the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, the National Museum, Wales; the National Portrait Gallery, London; and the Sir Elton John Photography Collection.
Maybin now works from Canada and the UK.
